This has been a bad week. First that guy smashed down the alley door next to our apartment and went ape shit smashing and breaking everything he could find. Then the drunks came in the apartment and made a mess inside our doorway. Then the drunk guy fell in the door and landed on Katie. Then I had a bunch of early morning drunks hassle me in the hallway. Then the bathroom door upstairs got smashed in. Now our apartment has been robbed.

Yeah, the daily early morning stink in this building is nasty. Word is out. Let me just say I know some people who know some people who know of some scumbags. If one of these bags are lookin to sell something soon, I’ll hear about it.

I posted some stuff on message boards. Maybe linking to them will help search engines if anyone looks for the serial number after my guitar gets sold on eBay or in some alley by the Bergman Hotel.

Good News! Lou’s guitar is back and it looks like our business insurance will help cover the stolen laptop. Thanks to everyone who helped us play junior detective.

Woo hoo! Glad to hear that the laptop is covered and the guitar is back. But what if, hypothetically, one had already donated to Lou’s new guitar fund? Would those funds be used for something equally useful.. like Lou’s uber-pogo stick fund? (I heard there are ones that shoot you up like 15 feet in the air!) Or maybe just a big poster of Lou in that lovely wonder woman outfit made to look like he’s on some kind of uber-pogo stick. Preferably on the ascent rather than the descent, please…
